2014 Legislative Scorecard

Our 2014 Scorecard grades each MD lawmaker based on his or her key floor and committee votes during the 2014 session. To show you which lawmakers have stood up for consumer rights year-after-year, we've also given each legislator four-year average scores that summarize their record on consumer issues since the legislative slate was elected in Nov. 2010.

To See How Your Legislators Scored, You Can:

Consumer Chanpions, Consumer Heroes

Four delegates (Al Carr, Bill Frick, Barbara Frush, and Carolyn Howard) and three senators (Richard Madaleno, Paul Pinsky and Jim Rosapepe) earned the title of "Consumer Heroes, 2011 to 2014" for their perfect consumer rights votes over the last four years. We also named 47 delegates and 26 senators who earned 100% scores for their votes this year our "2014 Consumer Champions."

To honor the legislators who show strong leadership on the committees that cast the most difficult and controversial consumer votes, we also named 26 legislatorson those committees who earned overall scores of 85% or better our "2014 Committee Champions." You can:
