Marceline White, Executive Director
Marceline brings more than 20 years of management, fundraising, advocacy, research, and organizing experience to her position. In addition to consumer issues, Marceline has written and advocated on international trade, gender and development, labor rights, environmental justice, and reproductive rights. She is a contributing author to Trading Women’s Health and Rights? Trade Liberalization and Reproductive Health in Developing Economies (2006) and Women and Justice (2004) and has authored numerous policy reports, journal and media articles. She has presented her work before Members of Congress, U.S.Trade Representative (USTR) staff, and US Agency for International Development (USAID) officials. Marceline's research and advocacy on fair trade has been presented to government officials in Bangladesh, Kenya, Peru, and Jamaica. Marceline developed research and led trainings for USAID Missions in Bangladesh and Peru on gender and trade issues that led to changes in the Mission's programming. Marceline has been interviewed on national radio programs and interviewed by local, national, and international media including The Washington Post, Foreign Policy in Focus, and The Utne Reader. She holds a Masters of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Robyn Dorsey, Policy Research & Reinvestment Manager
Robyn Dorsey is the Policy Research & Reinvestment Manager at the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition where she oversees the organization's Community Reinvestment Act work. Prior to coming to MCRC, Robyn was a Regional Organizer at NCRC where she provided technical support in leveraging the Community Reinvestment Act to organizations from Maryland to Maine. She has a Masters of Social Work in Social Action and Community Development from the University of Maryland. Robyn is a proud resident of Highlandtown, Baltimore and serves on the board of the Highlandtown Community Association.

Jen Diamond, Communications and Program Manager
Jen Diamond is the Communications and Program Manager at the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition. Her work at MCRC is primarily focused on issues around student loans and for-profit schools in Maryland. Before coming to MCRC, Jen worked as an arts administrator at the Hartford Stage Company in Hartford, Connecticut. She has held a number of roles in Baltimore nonprofits, including the Everyman Theatre, Single Carrot Theatre, and Art with a Heart. Jen graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Writing Seminars with a concentration in Women, Gender, & Sexuality. She is a proud alum of the Public Allies Maryland program and currently serves on the board of the Baltimore Improv Group.

Francine Hyman, SOAR Financial Counselor
Francine Hyman is the Financial Counselor at the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition for the SOAR initiative where she provides support to older adults by connecting them to community resources.  Her work with the SOAR initiative includes assisting older adults navigate the Renters' and Homeowners' Tax Credit application processes, as well as conducting benefit check ups and financial counseling. Prior to coming to MCRC, Francine worked as a Direct Service Case Manager providing support to older adults, youth and families throughout Baltimore City. She holds a Masters Degree in Management of Aging Services and a Bachelor’s in Social Work, both from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Jennifer Starfall Peeples, Office Manager
Jennifer Starfall Peeples is the Office Manager at the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition. Jen signed on as a consultant to support MCRC’s 2018 Annual Meeting, and shortly thereafter was invited to join MCRC as a permanent staff member. Jen will continue to be the lead Annual Meeting organizer, while also supporting MCRC staff in a multitude of consumer rights endeavors. She graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology, serves on the board of Roland Park Place, as well as the board of the Rolden Neighborhood Association. She has prior experience with older adults and community development organizations.  Jen is acutely interested in consumer rights and social justice issues, especially as they relate to Maryland’s older adult population.

Matt Cramer, Organizing Manager
Matt Cramer is the Organizing Manager at the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition. His lead role is to educate Baltimore voters through presentations to community associations, various neighborhood events, and field organizing. Before coming to MCRC, Matt worked multiple positions on the successful primary campaigns of Mary Washington for Senate, Melissa Wells for Delegate, and Stephanie Smith for Delegate, as well as, owning his own small business. Matt is a recent graduate of the University of Baltimore with a B.A. in Government and Public Policy with a focus on the Poor People’s Campaign and economic civil rights.
